Eats on Feets

I just found out about a really cool mama-to-mama breastmilk sharing organization that connects women who can't breastfeed with women who have milk to spare. Eats on Feets is a global network that operates over facebook, with chapters in all 50 states and from Senegal to Japan. Grassroots programs like this are great everywhere, but especially important in the U.S. where women aren't guaranteed paid maternity leave and face a variety of roadblocks to breastfeeding. Here's an interview with Eats on Feets co-founders Emma Kwasnica and Shell Walker from Missouri Public Radio (mp3).
